SPL

SPL is a high-tech automated line for cutting polyurethane foam and polyester fiber. This process line produces sponges starting from laminated material, and it can be enriched with special optional modules, such as a milling machine with a vacuum system, a printer module and rotation conveyors. Sponges can then have a nails-saver system and a printed logo.

The line is fully automated and managed by SPL software that has been developed especially for this equipment. Astronomic productivity, fully customizable.

Cutting station (SPL-R, SPL-L)
This cutting station cuts the material into stripes which are then conveyed to the other systems. The loader can support a full roller or pre-cut layers.
Vertical stacking area for stripes (SPL-S)
The loader can support maximum 40 stacked stripes.
Piling station
This is the area where all the stripes are accumulate before the final cutting phase.
Conveyor belts
These belts connect all the modules.
V-Cutting station
This station cuts the stripes into single sponges which are then conveyed to the other systems. It’s loaded with lots of stripes, cut simultaneously.
Milling station with vacuum
The milling station creates the nails-saver, the groove in the lateral part of the sponges. It conveys and acts on the sponges entire stripe at high speed. It features a vacuum system which removes the dust created in this process. This station supports a minimum sponge thickness of 48 mm
Printing station
The printing station operates on the sponge by printing the company logo in it. Fast in processing and accurate in execution.
Flip conveyor
This conveyor is able to flip the sponges over, readying them for different procedures and modules such as the final packaging
Rotation conveyor
This conveyor rotates the sponges by 90°, preparing them for other working processes or for packaging.
